Mount Cain is located in the territory of the ‘Namgis First Nation. The mountainous area near the Davie River, or Dzudzux‘an, is known as Papikałan in Kwak’wala, meaning place of marmots.

We have made the tough decision to suspend mountain operations until more snow arrives. Unfortunately, with the warm dry weather we’ve been experiencing at mountain elevations and the loss of snow it has become unsafe and damaging to our equipment to continue...
CAIN CUP 🏆
The Cain Cup was raced and won this past weekend. The Queen Hazel Schmidt (56.28) and King Mark Hutchinson (56:29) took the honours. Huge thank you to the volunteers who made it all happen and to everyone who raced! 📷Aidan Gay & June Hale
