Opening weekend is officially postponed but to ease the painful news, the ‘Na̱mg̱is Papiḵa̱ła̱n Community Cabin bookings are going live, Thursday December 4th at 6pm on our accommodations bookings page!
The ‘Na̱mg̱is Papiḵa̱ła̱n Community Cabin is operated by MCAPS in collaboration with the ‘Na̱mg̱is Band. It is an off-grid cabin that sleeps 12 people in four twin bunkbed rooms. It has propane and wood heat and a marine style toilet (No running water).
Plan your weekends and gather your friends and family this is the last of our large group bookable accommodations!
Unfortunately for opening, as you can see from the photos that were taken this past weekend on the 29th of November and the current weather station graph, we don’t have enough snow to open for this coming weekend. We will continue to update each Wednesday from now on for the coming weekend if we can safely open for skiing.
If you have accommodations booked for this weekend, cancellations and refunds as per our accommodation policy will be sent out tomorrow evening.
Now is the time to consider your sacrifices for snow storms carefully. Cross those fingers and toes, we can’t wait!
