As fall shrouds us in her cooler wetcoast embrace we are now only weeks away from the work party weekend!
We have a list of specific tasks but it is dynamic, so no matter what you’re up for we’d love to see you on the hill to help us get prepared for the season.
Here are some of the unique work party tasks thus far:
- Brush clearing (trained/competent people with proper brush saws or small chain saws), please bring your own equipment and PPE.
- Firewood
- Someone that knows compost toilets
- Interior and exterior painting
- Sheet metal work
- Hand-digging gravel
- Post/deck foundations (4 sonotubes w/footings need to be dug and installed)
- Concrete footing install on Bunny Hill safety gate
- Walkways around L3 bullwheel
- Groomer maintenance
September 19-20th is the work party weekend. Meeting out the front of the lodge Saturday morning for for specific task briefing and allocation.
Also the evening of Saturday September 19th is the societies Annual General Meeting. So come get involved and help shape Cain into it’s next best self!
